When Planning Center Services is the better choice

You need volunteer scheduling, with blockout dates and signups, for worship, tech and hospitality teams.
Your worship team rehearses from a song library, with charts, keys and audio.
You build ProPresenter playlists directly from your plan.
You're a small team: Services is free for up to 5 team members.

When ShowCall fits better

Your production team needs a cue-by-cue call with a column for each department, not just the current service item.
You want camera ops, lighting and stage to follow on their phones without being counted as seats.
You want to flash a hold or a colour message to the whole crew mid-service.
Your team also plans LED walls or tracks gear: PixelGrid and LoadOut are on the same plan.
