Log Sync
Flight log overlay & live broadcast studio · v0.30.1
Turn ArduPilot flight logs — or a live MAVLink feed — into broadcast-quality graphics. Analyze telemetry, design overlays with a live 3D aircraft, sync flight footage frame-accurately, key it over your switcher, and export with full hardware encoding. All on your machine, nothing uploaded.

Live to broadcast
Fly it live. Connect over MAVLink and drive the overlay, HUD, and 3D views in real time — then send fill & key to your ATEM.
Live MAVLink
Connect to ArduPilot over UDP — from this PC or another on the network. Every widget, chart, and 3D view runs in real time.
Smooth playout
A continuous playout clock plus a one-euro filter draw the line between packets — smooth, not jittery, with a latency/smoothness dial.
Fill + Key outputs
Fullscreen program outputs for a Blackmagic/ATEM chain: chroma, luma, true fill+key linear, or a live telemetry fields view.
Review on the fly
Scrub back through recent data mid-flight, then one click jumps back to the live edge — outputs stay live throughout.
Everything in the studio
Log analysis
ArduPilot dataflash charts with FBWA desired-vs-actual presets, markers, and per-pane scaling
Broadcast overlays
2D sticks, a live 3D aircraft with moving control surfaces, an Apple-style HUD, and telemetry line graphs
3D flight path
GPS track as an altitude-colored ribbon over terrain, with optional satellite imagery and A/B log comparison
Video sync
Frame-accurate log-to-video sync with a dedicated assistant for long clips and master-audio selection
Multiview
Quad splits and broadcast layouts mixing horizontal and vertical footage, with per-box or full-frame overlays
Hardware export
NVENC / QuickSync / AMF H.264 & H.265, plus ProRes 4444 with real alpha for clean keys
ArduPilot Deck
Stream Deck control surface · v0.4.0
A companion Bitfocus Companion module that turns a Stream Deck into a control surface for ArduPilot over MAVLink — ACK-verified commands, readback-verified parameters, Lua script handshakes, and live telemetry tiles. Point it at the same MAVLink stream you feed Log Sync.
- Install Bitfocus Companion and add a Stream Deck.
- Import the module
.tgzin Settings → Developer / Modules. - Add the ArduPilot → ArduPilot Deck connection at your MAVLink UDP endpoint.
- Import the layout
.companionconfigas a page for ready-made buttons.
Go live in three steps
Forward telemetry
In Mission Planner, add a UDP output to 127.0.0.1:14570 (or send from another PC on your network).
Connect Log Sync
Open Live, listen on 14570, and the LIVE banner shows exactly which streams are flowing.
Key it
Open a program output — chroma, luma, or fill+key — on a second display into your switcher.
